Christmas isn’t about getting presents, or giving them. And it isn’t about how much money you spend, or how much you get. Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus with your family. This Christmas means more to me than anyone will ever know. This is the last Christmas I am going to have with my family, in the house I’ve been living in since I was born. By next year, my dad and I will be in an apartment and my mom will be living with her boyfriend. Which means I’ll be having separate Christmases. I’m 15 years old and my parents have been married for 25 years and now they are getting a divorce. I don’t really understand why but its happening. But today, I am so glad that my parents could put aside their differences and spend the last Christmas before my sister goes to collage, and in this house together. It means so much to me considering Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love my family so much and I’m really happy we are all together, by the Christmas tree today. So if you haven’t already, when you open your presents with your family remember that Christmas isnt about all the gifts, it’s about the love you share with one another. Merry Christmas everyone.
